Gothenburg WOW what a beautiful city.

To just walk around and take lots of photos of nice things, eat good food at restaurants, have a lot of coffee and cinnamon buns and ice cream at the cozy cafés. Enjoy all the lovely people and the nice weather. Well that’s just exactly what I and my lovely man-friend have have been up to in Gothenburg.

Hotel Pigalle is the place to be when you are traveling to Gothenburg. This place is a sweet balance where you get the chance to visit the sinful Paris of the early 1900’s.

We had a lovely stay. A LOVELY STAY. I HAVE TO STAY HERE AGIN WHEN I’M BACK IN GOTHENBURG.

We were so pleasantly surprised by the stay. This hotel is exactly what all cities need. The feeling of getting away to a whole new world when you walk into a hotel is just an experience you want to experience. Every time we left the hotel for other activities I could hardly wait to get to go back, since I loved staying there. We also had a magnificent dinner one of the evenings and had a few extraordinary drink. All the staff was so very nice and friendly.  Just because I’m a breakfast person it turned out that the breakfast was among the best hotel breakfast I have experienced. We sat in the fine restaurant (where we had eaten the fabulous dinner) where they also served breakfast every morning. The interior was home nice and cozy, flowery couches, a bunch of lighting candles everywhere, beautiful flowers and paintings. Hotel Pigalle is a lovely hotel in Gothenburg that everyone should visit.

I’ll share more images about our stay in the next post.

Tea, Honey & Nail Polish

Isn’t this table lovely? Well my bf has built it all on his own. Pretty cool, don’t you think?

This honey from Lund (Southern Sweden, Glorias Äppelgård) is the best honey I’ve ever had. I’m crazy about honey, I have tried everything out there, but this one really takes the prize. Promise.

I took the opportunity to get a little work done during the morning. Then after a jog around the lake I allowed myself a very long shower. Drank a cup of tea and painted my nails before it was time to leave for the day’s first meeting.
